The Calgary CFA Society in conjunction with CFA Institute is offering scholarships in respect of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program®. Scholarships are open to all Calgary and area CFA candidates who are eligible to enrol for the CFA exams in December 2008, in addition to students enrolled in the CPMT Program in their fourth year of study at the University of Calgary.

Up to three (3) scholarships are available for the December 2008 examinations.

In addition to the scholarships awarded by the CFA Institute (which covers the enrolment fee other than US $220), the Calgary CFA Society will pay the US $220 application fee not covered by the CFA Institute scholarship program.

If you are interested in applying for the scholarship, please return the following to the Calgary CFA Society office, no later than Friday, August 15, 2008. Successful recipients will be notified before the end of August.

·         Two reference letters (professional and/or academic)

·         Employment letter (stating non reimbursement of program fees)

·         Transcripts (if applying as a university student)
